Transmission Damage Causes and Transmission Repair
Transmission damage can occur due to overheating, overloading, wear & tear, and other factors. Some of these factors, such as overheating can occur even without you noticing for example during towing a heavy load. When damage occurs, the wear of the transmission increases rapidly and the amount of debris such as flakes of metal and friction material grows exponentially.
While it is natural for metal dust to appear in the transmission fluid during its normal operation. It is removed when the fluid is changed. However, when the transmission is broken, the amount of metal particles increases and can plug the filter and cause control valves to stuck.
As a result, your car can stop moving forward, backward or both, some gears can be missing, transmission slipping or jerking can occur. If you experience any of these, this might be the sign that transmission repair is necessary for your car. We recommend coming for a free multi-check without delay as prolonged driving with transmission issues increases the damage and can result in an increase in the price of transmission repair.
Our transmission technicians are capable of repairing any type of transmission damage and getting your vehicle back on the road. We work with all types of transmissions, including CVT, domestic (Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, Ford, GMC, Chevrolet) and imports such as BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, Audi, Jaguar, Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Subaru, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda and others. You can book your free multi-check appointment with us over the phone or by using the form below.

How much does it cost?
The cost of transmission repair depends on many factors the most important being the make and model of your car as it determines the price for spare parts and the amount of transmission damage. As it is impossible to determine the exact extent of the damage, we do not give a quote until we inspect the unit. We do not want to lure customers in by promising them low cost repairs and then bring the price up with "unexpected" expenses.
How long does it take?
Multi-check takes up to 30 minutes. If you have time, you can wait in our comfortable customer area. Alternatively, you can also drop off your car. We even have 24 hour key drop off, so just call us and leave the car after hours. We will complete the tests and call you back with our best opinion.
Average transmission repair takes about 3-5 days depending on how busy the shop is and availability of parts.
Even with high work load, we try to give a quote as soon as possible, so you could make a decision.
